Sailing vessel Mira is a 32 feet Triangle ketch, built in 1961 by Grampian marine in Canada by a New York Designer Charles Angle. She is a very unique sailboat, only 25 of them were ever made and only couple of them still on the water. Mira is also a Pirate boat and we believe that the Pirate History of Belize is very under-rated, as Piracy was very big in Belize and a lot of islands that you will visit aboard S/V Mira will prove it!
She can sleep 4 people - there are two bunk beds in the forward and one double bed in the companionway (it can be converted into a nice sofa and a breakfast table if the double bed is not in use) so its makes a great vacation time for a family or friends. There is a head with a flushing toilet and fully equipped galley with an alcohol stove, coffee maker, fridge and a couple of fans. And don't worry - you will have enough privacy - the Captain sleeps in the aft cabin and is there to make sure you are safe and move from one Caye to another swiftly and with pleasure! Also to take you snorkeling (we have 4 sets of snorkels on the boat) and tell you about Pirates or teach you sailing on the way!
